Karirana Estates Ltd is involved in growing, processing, packaging and distribution of tea, including the Eden Tea brand. The company wishes to fill the following positions:

Field Assistant.

He or she will be reporting to the Field Manager and will be responsible for the day to day field operations which include, tea husbandry, fuel wood maintenance, firewood harvesting, firewood transportation, roads maintenance and other estate related activities.

The suitable candidate shall be a person who is self motivated, of high integrity, one willing to learn on the job and who can work under minimal supervision.

Applicants should be Kenyan citizens of not more than 35 years of age with a minimum of a diploma in forestry / agriculture or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

They should have experience in field operations in forestry or tea sector and have working knowledge in MS office packages.

Those with fish farming experience will have an added advantage

Motor Vehicle Mechanic

Reporting to the Senior Motor Vehicle Mechanic, he/she will be responsible for routine maintenance of various types of vehicles, tractors and trailers.

Suitable candidates must be holders of a diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution and at least 5 years hands-on experience in a busy motor vehicle workshop/garage and have working knowledge in MS office packages.
